Ragnvald Mjanger, M.D. completed his undergraduate education at the University of California, Long Beach and San Francisco. He earned his medical degree at the University of Oslo Medical School, Oslo, Norway and completed his residency at St. Paul Ramsey Hospital (Regions Hospital), St. Paul, MN. Dr. Mjanger is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mjanger has been in practice since 1988. He joined Metro Ob/Gyn in 1999. He specializes in Ob/Gyn with a focus on treatment of pelvic prolapse and urinary incontinence. He continues to further his education in pelvic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, including use of the da Vinci^® robotic surgical system, as well as surgery relating to urinary incontinence, and pelvic prolapse.

Dr. Mjanger was a navigator in the Norwegian Air Force and still enjoys flying, sailing boats and riding his Harley around small towns in Minnesota. He is the father of three grown children.
