Our Care Providers
All of us at Metropolitan OBGYN like to be a part of our patients’ lives as we care for their well-being. Most of us have an established history with each other and we all work well together. All of us have confidence in each other’s skills and confer with each other regularly. What this means to you, the patient, is that you have a team of dedicated professionals in the field of obstetrics and gynecology working for you. Our seven board certified doctors, three highly trained and certified nurse practitioners, and in-house certified ultrasound technician are dedicated to improving the quality of patients’ lives by offering superior care to women, from adolescence through maturity.
To the extent that it is possible, we strive to follow our own patients, deliver their babies, perform their surgeries, administer their treatment, and be on call for them. We also bring our own team of technicians and nurses to surgeries. We have a stake in our patients’ outcomes, and we want to be there whenever possible. However, due to the nature of our practice, in which we treat emergencies and deliver babies, there may be times when your doctor is not available. We hope that in those urgent instances you will understand and feel comfortable with another provider.
Patients most appreciate having a continual relationship with their own provider, yet occasionally, she expresses a desire to switch to another. Whenever a patient feels that way, for whatever reason, we will always understand. You are entitled to feel comfortable.
