Metro OBGYN has resumed normal clinic schedules to provide care to our patients in a controlled manner. We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve with new information emerging on a daily basis. As we continue to provide care in a safe setting, additional precautions are being taken to reduce the risk of exposure for all.
We ask that all patients and interpreters bring their own mask or cloth facial covering to their appointment. All Metro OBGYN providers and staff will continue wearing masks for the entire duration of clinic.
For the time being, we are not allowing spouses, children, or other companions to attend clinic appointments. The only person permitted in the clinic for all appointments is the patient, and language interpreter if applicable. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but this restriction is for the safety of our patients, physicians, and staff.
Waiting Room Policy
Metro OBGYN is committed to maintain social distancing as recommended by Governor Tim Walz and the MN Department of Health. Therefore, no more than five people are allowed in our waiting room at any given time. After appointment check-in, we may ask that you return to your vehicle and wait there until your provider is ready. Waiting room preference will be given to patients who do not have a vehicle to wait in, patients who require a language interpreter, and those who do not have a cell phone.
As an alternative to in-person appointments, Metro OBGYN is now offering Virtual Visits! You can connect with our providers in real-time using any electronic device with a camera, microphone, and reliable Wi-Fi or LTE connection. Currently, our Virtual Visit option is only available for certain appointment types. If you would like to make an appointment, please call 651-227-9141 to see if a Virtual Visit is a good fit for you!
The providers here at Metro OBGYN would like to thank you for your continued trust and patience. We look forward to seeing you in the office very soon. If you need to contact your provider before your appointment or at any other time, please call us at 651-227-9141.
