Dr. Rachel Parritz received her undergraduate degree in Human Development with a focus on Social and Cognitive Development at Cornell University. She earned her medical degree from Stony Brook University and completed her residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. During her residency, Dr. Parritz was recognized for the highest score on the CREOG in-training exam. She received awards for Excellence in Obstetrics, and Excellence in Teaching.
Dr. Parritz's interests include routine and high risk obstetrics, contraceptive counseling, evaluation and management of abnormal bleeding, and minimally invasive surgery, including the robotic daVinci® Surgical System.
She enjoys the comprehensive coverage of office visits, surgery, and helping women through the challenges and excitement of their pregnancies and life changes. She sees each patient as an individual and as a partner in care.
Dr. Parritz sees patients at Metro OBGYN clinics in Maplewood, Woodbury, and Apple Valley. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG).
In her free time, she enjoys cake decorating, exercise videos, and exploring the Twin Cities with her husband and their newborn daughter.
